The Gene Jet Tissue Adhesive "Tissue Aid™" is a sterile, liquid topical skin adhesive containing a unique monomeric (2-octyl cyanoacrylate) formulation* and the colorant D & C Violet #2.
It is provided in a sealed aluminum tube with two single-use nozzles, and are packaged in a Tyvex™ sterile pouch. The easy to use nozzle* is composed of a self-puncturing cap and a soft tip which provides precision spreading of adhesive along the edges of wound-closures.
High Viscosity
As it is applied to the skin, the "TissueAid™" is syrup-like in viscosity and cures within minutes. Studies have shown that following application, "TissueAid™" becomes a barrier to prevent microbial penetration as long as the adhesive film remains intact.
